2.0 The RecordToMCU command.
Description:
This allows the host to start a recording to be made by the CHIPSET. However, the compressed
data is not stored into external memory but is sent to the MCU instead. Like the
RecordMessage
command, one can use the “A” flag to immediately start a recording or let
the recording start only when a predefined threshold has been exceeded.
The recording can only be stopped by the
Idle
command.

Remark:
A
= 1 bit. If this bit is set to one then the CHIPSET will start recording automatically when the VAD
has exceeded the predefined threshold. This results in the first moments of silence not being recorded
(this can result in a significant storage memory saving). If this bit is set to zero, then the recording
starts immediately.

Remark:
The CHIPSET returns directly with this status result. This allows the host to issue line monitor
commands or
Idle
commands while the CHIPSET is waiting until the VAD threshold has exceeded
the predefined limit before starting recording.
